VMO Medical billing, made easy.

MoBiller is an iOS app that streamlines capturing patient details, recording billing codes, and generating billing reports.

I began by prototyping the core features with React Native and Expo, which allowed for rapid iteration and early user testing. A key focus during this phase was ensuring the app could reliably scan and parse patient sticker details, as this functionality formed the backbone of the workflow. Validating this early meant I could refine the experience before committing to the full design.

After the prototype was proven, I moved into a detailed design phase using Figma. I focused on creating an interface that felt simple and familiar for clinicians, with clear typography and intuitive navigation. The design phase also defined key components and patterns that would later form the foundation of the app’s design system.

With the design finalised, I returned to development using React Native to build out the full application. I implemented Unistyles to establish a consistent design system and ensure the visual language carried through across every screen. This final phase brought together the validated workflows and polished design into a production‑ready build.
